I searched on Google to see who else was selling their longtail data, and found that I ranked #1 for "selling hittail data". Hittail came second :)

Then I searched for "selling hittail" and I still made it to page 1 on Google.

Seems like no one else is talking about this. Am I in a totally untapped niche goldmine with this concept or is it just not interesting to people?

Everything I've heard about internet marketing and market demand tells me go where the competition is, and not into areas where no one else is selling.

But I can't help but feel I'm on to something so I'll keep my selling hittail data offer out there to the end of April.
