As the holiday shopping season heats up with online
stores, there's one situation you DON'T want to have
happen:^-;
"running around frantically trying to buy THAT item for your loved one"
It could be a zhu zhu pet, or robotruck, or the latest
"Going Rogue" book for a relative.
The Recession Has Created A Condition of Low Inventory
Retailers have cut back on inventory as they wait out the recession. But this is already causing huge problems for popular items.
The news media are reporting items already going out of stock in huge department stores.
Bloggers are getting into it, including Shawn Collins who normally covers ecommerce and affiliate marketing topics.
The bottom line is you don't want to be left out paying outrageous prices on ebay or even from Amazon.com's resellers.
For example, let's look at the cute but ferocious little zhu zhu pet...
A good zhu zhu is an Amazon In-Stock Zhu Zhu
These cute little things that junior is begging for, can clear out your wallet if you're not careful.
Especially watch the prices of "in stock" items that are really out of stock and sold through resellers.
I have just launched a new site that helps you track those
items you want. You get an alert when it's in Amazon stock
so you can snap it up at retail.
Most alert systems out there use an email alert which is nice
but slow when 10,000 people are queued up to be emailed about 100 zhu
zhu's in stock.
Instant In-Stock Alerts
My system
is INSTANT and sets off a loud horrible sounding buzzer - but it works and it beats
all those email alert shoppers hands down.
All you need to do is know the ASIN (Amazon shopping id number)
of the item you want.
It's listed on the item product details - every Amazon item
has a unique id number.
For
example, Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Pipsqueek has ASIN B002BHC7O2 and Amazon
says it's in stock but not Amazon Stock - so watch carefully.
If you're not sure how to find it,
watch the tutorial video on the site (see link below).
Use the save watch list to keep a list
handy. Leave it on in the house so you hear it go off and
know you can now buy the item that pops up.
Because of the crappy economy, you'd think there won't be
these sold out situations.
But it's the opposite - retailers
have been cutting back inventory, so the popular items
will be sold out soon.
Visit this site now to set up
alerts for the items you want.
Tell your friends.. but only after you've gotten what you
want ha ha :)

Warning - the alarm is REALLY loud and scary so don't be
surprised. It goes off when an item is in stock.
If you
see an inventory number but it says *not in amazon stock*
that means it's being sold at higher prices by scalpers.
The alert will go off once it comes into Amazon stock so you
just have to pay retail.
The site is free to use.
Disclaimer:
This blog is about affiliate marketing related ecommerce, and that's what this site and blog post is all about.
I'll admit I might make a commission off any items that are bought through my site. Heck I usually make something out of pretty well anything I spend my time on and the FTC wants you to know that.
Now if you prefer to hit refresh every 5 minutes on the Amazon site itself, and risk losing sleep and losing an item that you really want AND possibly paying MORE than retail, just so that I don't get a commission, then please go ahead and don't use my free site.
PS for affiliate tracking geeks - this app will send people to amazon once the API detects the item is in stock. The click throughs go via my affiliate link. Amazon tracks it and if anything is bought in 24 hours (which I think is a bit short timeframe for affiliate credit) I get a whopping 5% of the sale.
