Have you ever stopped to think of all the connections you have and what they're worth - especially if you could hook up some of your connections with suppliers or customers where both parties end up doing some business?

There's a new affiliate network in town called Salesconx and it's exactly that - a marketplace where introductions are bought and sold.

Like a typical affiliate transaction where there's a customer, a merchant, and an affiliate, there are three parties involved in a Salesconx "deal":

  1. The person selling the connection - i.e. the affiliate. The twist is that the affiliate is in control of setting the fee for putting the customer and supplier together. As a member of Salesconx, the affiliate can set a price for making the introduction.
  2. The buyer of the connection - whoever is willing to pay the introduction fee and learn the contact details from the affiliate.
  3. The contact who is known to the affiliate. As an affiliate, the more people you know who are looking for certain solutions, the more connections you can sell and the more you can earn. Some Salesconx members have already made over $1000 selling their connections.

Now before you start thinking of selling your address book, think again. This isn't a place where you just offer emails or phone numbers to anyone. The system is tightly controlled for quality and you should only sell contacts of those who are truly looking for solutions to their problems.

So you need to think about your contact and what sort of introductions they would be open to. Don't overdo it or you'll burn your relationship with your contacts.

If you're a company with specific services or products to sell, you can also register and offer to buy contacts - e.g. you could offer $50 for a lead in to medium sized insurance companies who need a new accounting system. As a buyer of contacts you can also specify a success fee - i.e. if a deal goes through you offer a bonus to the "affiliate" or connection seller.
