A new site has recently launched called AffPlanet. It's a hosted affiliate tracking system  based on the popular script product Post Affiliate Pro by QualityUnit.

I know the guys at QualityUnit and have a few clients who use their product. They give good support and with this new alternative they are sure to shake up the affiliate industry.

AffPlanet has 2 main versions - a free (yes free!) hosted plan and an upgraded plan.

AffPlanet provides support for several types of commissions, fraud detection, affiliate payout gateways, communication with affiliates, graphics support, advanced reporting, and real time statistics.

The main limiting factor of the free plan is the number of transactions and also there is some advertising on the panels (admin, affiliate). However this is a great little hosted service from a quality vendor and if you are considering an affiliate program it's worth even just trying AffPlanet out before you make your final decision on an affiliate platform.
