I've noticed that there's not much happening in Canada re affiliate marketing. Or else those peaceful Canucks are keeping it quiet. I suspect it's a good thing and will soon explode as it has in the USA. I've come across 3 affiliate networks so far Share Results has already been reviewed and added to the site, with 2 more to come.

So far I haven't seen any Canadian vendors of affiliate tracking solutions.

One dark secret about affiliate marketing in Canada is that the Canadian subsidiaries of American companies end up losing out when HQ signs an exclusive deal with a big network, only to learn later that the Canadian online store doesn't track with the affiliate network. I put in an enquiry into Commission Junction but so far no answer...

So if you are an affiliate for some American companies and there are sales made via the Canadian store, you may not get any commissions for those sales.

Canadian merchants might want to seek out Canadian affiliate networks or else in-house solutions that handle the $CAD. If your HQ has tied you to an exclusive deal with a non-CAD friendly network, you may be out of luck.
